John Weeks began doing voice overs for advertising agencies while he was in radio full time at WOWW 107 in Pensacola Florida. In the early 1980s, he started a business called Reel to Real Audio Productions. He still likes keeping up with former radio buddies on the industry's web site www.radio-info.com. That's where he got the idea to start posting old air checks. Some of the guys were chatting about how they wish they could go back to the 1970s and hear WJDX in Jackson Mississippi. John was working there then and decided to share his air checks and contacted old friends to find out if they would like to do the same. Due to the kindness of some really nice people, the air checks on the following pages are available for listening and downloading.
